Currys is charging £65.99 less than Amazon for the Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition Switch 2.
Amazon lists the Nintendo Switch 2 The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition at £499.99, while Currys has it available to pre-order for £434, saving you £65.99, or 13%, on the same special edition console.
Don’t pre-order the Zelda Switch 2 before seeing this Currys price
With a 7.9-inch 120Hz screen and 256GB storage, the Switch 2 Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition is £434 to pre-order at Currys, saving £65.99.
View DealThat £65.99 would cover a physical Switch 2 game priced at £64.99, and it leaves the Currys price just £49.01 above the £384.99 Amazon currently charges for the standard console. The anniversary design adds very little to the bill.
Underneath the Triforce-patterned styling sits the same Switch 2 that one of our tech experts has reviewed, praising its bigger 7.9-inch screen, faster performance and magnetic Joy-Con 2 controllers, which feel more rigid and durable than before.
Those Joy-Con 2 controllers also double as a computer mouse in certain games, rolling across a desk or table for precise control, and our expert found the feature far more accurate in practice than they had expected.
Back on that bigger screen, a 1080p resolution, HDR support and refresh rates up to 120Hz in supported games make handheld play far more immersive than before, while docking the console unlocks 4K visuals on your TV.
Zelda fans get plenty to play, since the Zelda Switch 2 runs original Switch games, and paid upgrades give Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom better frame rates and resolutions on the new hardware.
