Even Realities refreshes G2 with a new look, new accessories and smarter AI

Even Realities has introduced a new tortoiseshell-inspired finish and accessories for its camera-free G2 smart glasses, alongside a major software update that adds AI-powered memory and real-time assistance.

The new Even G2 Brown 2 brings a more traditional eyewear design to the company’s smart glasses, which already offer features such as live translation, notifications and a built-in teleprompter.

Made from acetate, the new colourway features warm brown tones and a tortoiseshell-inspired pattern that runs throughout the frame rather than sitting on the surface. Each pair has its own pattern, while Even Realities claims Brown 2 is its lightest G2 design yet, without compromising fit, stability or display clarity.

Alongside the refreshed design, Even Realities has introduced the Even G2 Polarized Sun Clips, featuring Silver Gray lenses designed to reduce glare and improve visibility in bright sunlight. The clips offer 100% UVA and UVB protection, with dedicated versions for each style.

There’s also a new Even G2 Chain, a lightweight stainless steel accessory that allows users to keep their glasses around their neck when they’re not wearing them. It’s particularly aimed at non-prescription users who regularly take their glasses on and off throughout the day.

However, the bigger changes come through a software update rolling out today, which Even Realities describes as its largest since April.

The headline addition is Knowledge Base, a feature that allows users to import previous Conversate sessions or upload files, organising the information into a visual Knowledge Tree of connected topics. Users can choose what information is added, updated or removed, giving them control over the information their glasses can draw upon.

The update also introduces Even AI 2.0, which uses information from Knowledge Base to provide more relevant answers, maintain context across follow-up questions and revisit earlier conversations without starting over. Meanwhile, AI Cue Expert Mode can display real-time guidance directly in the user’s field of view during sales calls, interviews or classes, including relevant information, unanswered questions and suggested next steps.

Another addition is Conversate Pro Mode & Insights, currently in beta, which goes beyond conventional meeting summaries to identify priorities, potential risks and recommended next steps. Each insight is linked to supporting moments in the conversation, allowing users to trace where the information came from. A new Dark UI mode is also included.

Together, the additions represent a broader update to the Even G2 lineup, combining more conventional eyewear styling with software designed to make the glasses more useful across everyday conversations and professional situations. Unlike camera-equipped smart glasses, the G2 continues to focus on displaying information directly in the wearer’s field of vision without capturing images or video.
