Oppo’s next flagship smartphone could be getting a serious camera upgrade, with a new leak revealing what appears to be the full camera setup of the upcoming Find X10 Ultra.
According to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, the Find X10 Ultra could feature a 200MP main camera with a 1/1.12-inch sensor, alongside a second 200MP periscope telephoto camera with a 1/1.3-inch sensor. There’s also reportedly a 50MP periscope lens offering 10x optical zoom, giving the phone plenty of flexibility when shooting distant subjects.
The main camera is also tipped to feature LOFIC technology, which is designed to improve dynamic range by capturing more detail in bright and dark areas of an image. Interestingly, the reported 200MP main sensor is similar in size to the one found in the Find X9 Ultra, although the addition of LOFIC could make a noticeable difference to image quality. The main sensor is reportedly identified as HPA or HPU, suggesting it could belong to Samsung’s ISOCELL HP series.
Perhaps the biggest upgrade, however, could be on the front. Oppo is reportedly planning a 100MP selfie camera with a square 1:1 sensor, doubling the resolution of the 50MP front camera found on the Find X9 Ultra.
There are still a few details that haven’t been finalised. Oppo is reportedly considering a larger 1/1.95-inch sensor for the 10x periscope camera, although production delays could force the company to use a smaller 1/2.76-inch alternative. The sensor for the 200MP telephoto camera also remains undecided, meaning the final hardware could change before launch.
For context, the Find X9 Ultra already features a 200MP main camera and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens, so the next model may not represent a complete overhaul. Instead, the biggest improvements could come from better dynamic range, potentially stronger long-range zoom performance and a significantly higher-resolution selfie camera.
The Oppo Find X10 Ultra is expected to launch in the first half of 2027, following the recent global arrival of the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max. Oppo hasn’t confirmed any of these specifications yet, but the early details suggest photography will remain a major focus for its next Ultra flagship.
