Samsung Galaxy Glasses leak details 41g design and Gentle Monster collaboration

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Glasses have appeared in a new leak, revealing a range of frame designs and key specifications ahead of their expected launch later this year.

According to SammyGuru, the Android XR-powered glasses will weigh around 41g with standard lenses, making them noticeably lighter than the Meta Ray-Ban Gen 3, which weighs approximately 51.5g. They’ll reportedly run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 chipset, paired with 2GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

The glasses are also expected to feature a 12MP camera capable of recording 3K video at 30fps, alongside open-ear speakers and built-in microphones for calls, music and voice interactions. Battery life is reportedly rated at up to 72 hours when used with the charging case.

Perhaps the biggest surprise is just how many styles Samsung is preparing. Rather than sticking to one or two designs, the company is reportedly working with Gentle Monster and Warby Parker to offer a much wider selection of frames.

Gentle Monster is said to be developing six frame styles with up to 16 variants, ranging from traditional square and rounded designs to cat-eye and slimmer oval options. Colours reportedly include black, burgundy and cream, with different lens tints available depending on the frame.

Warby Parker, meanwhile, is expected to offer three designs called Alden, Reid and Wren. The Alden and Wren models will reportedly come in Pine and Saddle colourways, while Reid will be available in Jet Black. Clear and tinted lenses are also expected.

That variety could give Samsung an advantage over Meta’s Ray-Ban lineup, particularly for buyers who want smart glasses that look more like everyday eyewear.

Samsung has already confirmed that its Galaxy Glasses will arrive before the end of 2026, having first showcased them during July’s Galaxy Z Fold 8 launch event.

The latest report points to a November launch, initially limited to South Korea and the US. Pricing remains unknown, although the glasses are expected to be sold through Samsung Experience Stores in the US and the participating eyewear brands’ websites.

For now, the specifications and designs remain unconfirmed, but the leak suggests Samsung is putting just as much emphasis on how its smart glasses look as on what they can do.
