So what's the catch?
Of course, no phone is perfect, and going last-gen with your devices means that you should be prepared to make some sacrifices. The biggest issue here is the software promise. Even at launch, the Motorola Razr Ultra (2025) fell behind the competition by guaranteeing just three OS updates with four years of security updates.
That means that the 2025 device will only get updates up to Android 18. Compare that to the seven-year software promise offered by other , and you'll see why it's an issue.
Aside from the limited software support, the only major problem that we had with the Motorola Razr Ultra (2025) at launch was its $1,300 price tag. Those days are over, and with this early Black Friday deal from Best Buy in tow, the Razr Ultra has swiftly become the best flip phone that you can buy for under $700 today.
