Sonos has offered some of the best premium smart speakers on the market for a long time and has managed to stay on top all these years. It's had a few software hiccups, but the hardware has been solid all along.
If you're looking to buy a smart speaker, the Sonos Era 100 is a great choice. You can now grab the Sonos Era 100 at its lowest price ever. Amazon is now discounting the speaker by 32%, dropping it down to just $149 from its original MSRP of $219.
A great one for someone starting out
Sonos has an expansive lineup of smart speakers. But the Sonos Era 100 delivers on all points, even though it's one of its more affordable options. You get a ton of great features for a fair price. More importantly, the Sonos Era 100 sounds great, delivering impressive audio with its dual-tweeter and single-woofer design.
You can connect using Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or even by cable with an adapter. Perhaps what makes this one so easy to use is that it will tune the speaker for you, providing the most optimal sound for any space. And while the app did get some changes, it's been improved and works fairly well.
And if you need more sound down the line, you can pair two Sonos Era 100 together. We don't think you'll be disappointed at this price. The Sonos Era 100 left us impressed. Great sound in a compact size that works great for most audio needs. And with the new discounted price, it's even easier to pick up.
If you're still interested, you can grab it from Amazon or Walmart for the same low price of $149. While Amazon only has the white model for $149, you can pick up both colors at the discounted price from the latter.
The Sonos Era 100 is the official successor to the ultra-popular Sonos Play:1 and Sonos One speakers, integrating two side-firing speakers and a woofer to improve the sound over its predecessors. With support for Bluetooth and line-in, along with upgraded internals and a slightly higher $249 price tag, this is the upgrade people have been waiting for.
