A powerful nor'easter storm has washed up what may be a shipwreck from the 19th century in Massachusetts, local media said.

The wreckage discovered on a beach on Sunday is believed to be part of the "Warren Sawyer" – which ran aground near Nantucket in 1884, according to the Nantucket Current.

Fragments of the wooden ship were also discovered in 2022 and 2023.
